Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a doughnut pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg, and vanilla until well blended.
- Gradually combine the wet and dry mixtures using a rubber spatula; stir gently to avoid overmixing.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan until two-thirds full.
- Bake for about 11 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool briefly before glazing with a mixture of confectioners' sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
