  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar (divided)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Beat softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth. Add remaining sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly in the bottom.
  5. Roll out one can of dough on floured waxed paper and press into the pan over the sugar layer. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
  6. Roll out the second can of dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
