  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 large apples, chopped
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • sprinkle of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and flour; mix well. Incorporate sour cream and vanilla before adding eggs one at a time.
  4. Pour cheesecake filling over the crust and bake for about 50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  5. In a skillet, cook chopped apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until tender.
