Description

Experience the delightful flavors of Korean cuisine with this Easy Chicken Bulgogi Recipe (Dak Bulgogi). This quick and satisfying dish features tender chicken thighs marinated in a sweet and savory blend that captures the essence of traditional bulgogi.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ¼ Korean pear
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ inch ginger
  • Optional: 1 tbsp gochujang for spice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, avocado oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and diced Korean pear in a bowl until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Coat chicken thighs in the marinade and let sit for at least 20 minutes (or up to overnight).
  3. Preheat your air fryer or grill to medium-high heat. Cook the chicken thighs until fully cooked—about 10 minutes in an air fryer or approximately 5–6 minutes per side on the grill.
  4. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving with rice or lettuce wraps.
