  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp hot sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  2. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a heavy-bottom skillet to 325°F.

  5. Fry tenders in batches for about 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a wire rack.
