  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage slices and brown for about 5 minutes before setting aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook seasoned shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side until pink; remove and set aside.
  4. Add broccoli with a splash of water to the skillet; cover and steam for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet; pour in the honey garlic sauce and stir well. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
