- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, letting it hang over the edges, then spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt. Use a pastry blender to cut in softened butter until crumbly. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly browned.
- In another bowl, mix brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, and eggs until combined. Stir in chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust and return to the oven for an additional 25-30 minutes or until set in the center.
