- 2 TBSP culinary dried lavender
- 8 oz unsalted butter (1 cup), melted
- 9 oz all-purpose flour (2 cups)
- 8 large eggs
- 1 ¼ cups fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 2 lemons (about 2 TBSP)
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine granulated sugar, dried lavender, melted butter, lavender sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and flour in a mixing bowl; mix until dough forms.
- Press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish; bake for about 20 minutes or until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, beat eggs until frothy; add lemon juice, lavender sugar, lemon zest, and flour; mix until smooth.
- Pour filling over baked crust; return to oven and bake for an additional 40 minutes or until set.
- Cool completely before slicing and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
