Ingredients
- 1 ½ tbsp butter
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 1 lb boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Sauté the chopped green bell pepper and onion in half the melted butter over medium heat until softened (about 3-4 minutes). Set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the remaining butter and cook the rib-eye steak seasoned with salt and pepper until browned (3-4 minutes).
- Combine the sautéed veggies with the cooked steak in the pan.
- On each egg roll wrapper, place half a slice of cheese and 2-3 tablespoons of the filling. Fold according to package instructions and seal edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry egg rolls in batches for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
