  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 packet (0.25 oz) instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk for glaze

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to between 120-130°F and coat a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter or coconut oil, sugar, salt, and yeast. Stir well and mix in flour until soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
  6. Roll tightly into a log shape and slice into 12 pieces.
  7. Place in the prepared baking pan and let rise for about 30 minutes until doubled in size.
  8. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls.
