- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a springform pan.
- Cook sliced apples with butter, brown sugar, and spices until tender.
- For the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
- Layer half the cheesecake batter over the crust, followed by cooked apple filling, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake in a water bath for 90–110 minutes until set; cool in oven before refrigerating.
